Let me tell you a bit about me, my name is Dadang, I am an engineer ( at least that’s what my
employer thinking about me, so far).
I have been living in Glasgow-Scotland, UK since 2014, and been lived aboard in various countries as
well for years following my recent and former company’s assignments.
My job roles lead me to expose to different cultures and demand me to keep developing my
languages (especially English) skill in both formal and informal forms.
I found that no matter who you are, language becomes one of a common barrier or enemy for
achieving whatever your life goals, that is why for me, learning any language is pretty important, its
not just about reading, speaking, or learning grammar,…away more than that, it’s about sharing
minds, thoughts and experiences.
Even one of my Idol ever said “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his
head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart”.
I will not put myself as an expert who will give or teach you some magic spells how to speak English
fluently in an hour, because, as a matter of fact, I am not an expert and I’m not even Harry Potter’s
best pal. Learning is an endless journey, so I will call myself “ your fellow learner”
In this occasion, I would like to share my experiences and skills and it will be grateful if you can
share yours as well. I believe it will become highly valuable lessons for both of us. And hopefully, it
may help you to develop your English skill.
